We are a counter style restaurant with seating for up to 46 guests, dine-in, take-out Established in 2019 and proudly rooted in Mount Vernon, Ohio, we are a small local business with a big passion for barbecue.
Our journey began with Pit Master Bill Wheeler that started in competition, food truck and then decided to open this restaurant and share the skills and flavors that now define our signature style. Every cut of meat is smoked low and slow, bringing out rich, mouthwatering flavor. Our sides are made from scratch, and we proudly craft our own sauces, each one a labor of love.
From the moment you walk through our doors, our friendly and knowledgeable team is ready to welcome you, serve delicious food, and guide you through a truly satisfying barbecue experience. We're here to share our love of great food and genuine hospitality with every guest we serve.
PIT MASTER
Since 2003, Bill Wheeler has been competing in BBQ competitions throughout the state of Ohio and beyond. Passionate about connecting people through food and in 2019, he opened Road Hog Willy's Real Pit Bar-B-Q to share his skills with the community.
He uses only the finest meats for every dish and has even developed his own signature line of BBQ sauces for a unique dining experience. He has developed his own Recipes for Side Dishes also.
